Opsgenie alternatives, 2026
NOFire AI
What should we move to before Opsgenie shuts down?
Atlassian ends Opsgenie support on April 5, 2027, and deletes the data that is not migrated. NOFire AI replaces the pager. Import your teams, schedules and escalation policies in an afternoon, page the same people from day one, and let your team's agent work every incident before anyone is paged. On-call is free for up to 15 users.

Why teams look for an alternative
You do not have a choice this time. Atlassian ended Opsgenie sales on June 4, 2025, and ends support on April 5, 2027. On that date Opsgenie stops working, and Atlassian deletes the data that you did not migrate. Alerts sent to Opsgenie after that date reach nobody.
So the question is not whether to move. The question is where to move, and when. A forced move is also a chance to choose a better tool, because you repoint every alert source anyway. The cost of choosing a better destination is smaller than usual.
Most teams compare price and features first. Ask three more questions. Can the tool import your setup, so that nobody copies schedules by hand? Can the tool run next to Opsgenie, so that you compare who gets paged before you switch? And what happens after the page?
That last question matters most. A pager tells a person that something is wrong. The person then spends the first part of the incident finding the change, the owner and the last similar incident. With NOFire AI, each team has an agent that works the incident first, with the team's runbooks, past incidents and a live map of production. The page then reaches your engineer with the cause and the next step.
Where the current tool still wins
Opsgenie still works until April 5, 2027. A rushed move to the wrong tool is the most expensive mistake here. A planned move with a parallel run is safer than a fast one.
Opsgenie also sits inside the Atlassian estate. If your services, documents and tickets all live in Jira and Confluence, that link is the thing you will miss. You do not have to give it up. NOFire AI syncs incidents and tickets with Jira Service Management and ServiceNow, so you can keep Jira for tickets and choose the pager on its own merits.
Day to day, schedules, escalation policies and routing rules look much the same in every tool. A responder who moves from Opsgenie learns the new pager quickly. The work in a move is not training. The work is the integrations.
How to switch
Start with an export, before you choose a tool. Export teams, members and contact methods, every schedule with its rotation, handoff time and time zone, every escalation policy step by step, and every alert source with the team it pages. Atlassian deletes what you do not export, so this step has value wherever you land.
Then import. NOFire AI imports teams, schedules and escalation policies in one step, so nothing is rebuilt by hand. Your engineers keep their rotations and get paged the same way as before, by Slack, push, SMS or phone.
Next, run both tools side by side for one or two weeks. Send the same alerts to Opsgenie and to NOFire AI, and compare who got paged, alert by alert. A parallel run shows a missing route or a wrong time zone before a real incident does.
While the two run together, let your team's agent work the incidents. Your team decides what each agent handles alone, and an agent never changes production without a named person's approval. When the pages match, switch your alert sources to NOFire AI, export the history you want to keep, and remove the Opsgenie integrations.

Frequently asked questions
- When does Opsgenie shut down?

Which one fits your team
Move before the deadline, not on it. Pick a tool that imports your setup and can run next to Opsgenie while you compare. NOFire AI does both, keeps on-call free for up to 15 users, and starts every incident with your team's agent.
